As needed support of a client placed in a foster home  - home visits, documentation, field contact (i.e. school, community, etc), supervision of visits, transportation, attendance at meetings in a variety of settings.

As needed support to foster family to assist with maintenance and stability of child's placement.

Adoptions - Work with Adoption Specialist to facilitate the adoption finalization of youth placed in foster to adopt homes - includes writing of court report, post-adoption placement visitation, filing of documents.

Our social work interns work with youth placed in THP placements and youth in foster homes allowing for an experience that provides variety and a taste of the many different opportunities that a foster care services social worker has in this field. Additionally, Youth for Change offers the opportunity to shadow social workers and clinicians from the multiple other programs and services provided by the agency.
