Restorative Justice Intern At — Youth Transforming Justice
We are looking for a restorative justice intern who will contribute to the Youth Transforming Justice mission of ending the school-to-prison pipeline by modeling systems based on peer-drive, restorative trauma-informed practices. This is an opportunity to learn from and be part of an experienced team that is effectively changing the inequities in our educational and judicial system.
- how to provide restorative trauma-informed services to middle and high school students - how to case manage youth referred to the program - how to connect youth to community engagement opportunities - monitor teen program completion - facilitate restorative and community building circles
As part of the onboarding process students will meet with the site-supervisor once every week for the first four weeks to discuss and understand 1.) programs and way of doing things 2.) observe each of our programs 3.) start participating in our programs 4) feedback evaluation.
Students will be working remote minimizing any safety concerns.
