Opportunity Summary

Our Database Engineering group is seeking inquisitive engineers/interns that are passionate in areas such as distributed software systems, database systems, SQL/SPARQL engine optimization, machine learning, search/query engines and security. As an intern at MarkLogic, you will design and develop key new features of the core database that have direct impact on our worldwide customers. You will be part of a very collaborative team that will provide you with the necessary tools, help and mentorship to make sure you will succeed with your project. Our interns have an opportunity through their assigned projects to contribute directly to the development of the next generation MarkLogic Database.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes

• Strong Java coding skills • Experience working on HTML, CSS, JavaScript & JQuery • Experience working on modern JS frameworks like Angular, VueJS, React, etc. is preferred • Undergraduate/Graduate student studying Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline at a top leading institution • Strong documentation and debugging skills • Excellent communication skills

Opportunity Training

• Database technologies: Enterprise RDBMS technologies or NoSQL solutions • Query language implementation like XQuery, JavaScript
