Determining priority needs for physical therapy in a Home Health Environment Observe physical therapy consultation to home families/caregivers Understanding therapeutic techniques, such as muscle strengthening and home teachings. As well as a variety of services designed at education, prevention and wellness.
Observe physical therapy consultation to home families/caregivers Observe patient training in the use of prosthetic device Observe directing physical therapy treatment. Identifies patient and family/caregiver needs for home health services Assessing and evaluating therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status Observe Assessments for muscle strength, mobility, gait, ROM—potential for rehab Submit clinical and progress summaries based on the attainment of goals
Student may wear clean, comfortable working shoes with closed toes. Hair must be neatly groomed. It must be secured so that it does not fall into the face. Nails must be an appropriate length for safe clinical practice, clean and well manicured. No chipped polish. Jewelry must be simple, not excessive, large or dangling Cologne or perfume should not be offensive
