Opportunity Summary

To enable Guardant Health to fight cancer through data, the Enterprise Data Platform Team is seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern – Data Scientist, Analytics to join our team to create and enhance Advance data products to support Guardant teams. At Guardant, we leverage the most advanced technologies and work with leaders in many different fields to create the most impactful and meaningful technologies for cancer management. At Guardant Health, you will be at the forefront of combining personalized medicine with IT innovations to improve patient care. You will interact with a diverse team of data engineers, and software engineers to develop software in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes

• Perform large-scale data analysis to extract useful business insights • Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and influence the direction of the business by communicating results to cross-functional groups • Work closely with a Product Manager and Engineering team to proactively create rule and manage decisions • Classify leads so that the teams work on the most valuable cases • Suggest improvements in the tools and techniques to help scale the team
