Construction Project EngineerAt — Green Valley Corporation dba Swenson Builders
Swenson Builders is interested in opportunities for students studying in the following Fields - Construction Management, Accounting, Architecture, and/or Real Estate Development. the goal in this internship is to give a student a first hand look into their field of study by assisting a professional in the field, who will model and teach to them the duties and requirements of their job over a several month process. They will teach the student and give them an opportunity to assist the professional in their day to day duties, so that the student can receive field experience to assist them both in their studies and in their later career in their field of study.
The Primary focus will be to give the student an introduction and real life experience in their respective field of study. They will be placed at a specific project or work under a specific individual who will show and explain to them the requirements of the job. After getting an overview of the role, the student will be assigned various tasks and duties to allow them to learn some basic career job tools. These will be under the tutelage of their superior, who who assist them, review their work and provide suggestions on how to better perform these tasks.
Basic Jobsite Safety Training for Construction Projects will be given to all Construction Interns before beginning work in the field. All interns will work under the mentoring of a specific professional who will train the student in multiple facets of their field of study.
