Opportunity Summary 

Position Summary Reporting to the Clinical Director of Homeless Senior Services, the community service specialist is responsible for intensive case management services and advocacy for un housed seniors in order to find, secure and retain affordable housing and to improve wellness outcomes.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

How to communicate effectively with senior who are experiencing crisis in health and housing in the Bay area. Student will gain knowledge of relevant clinical orientations, such as harm reduction, trauma informed care and progressive engagement to support seniors as they move from homelessness and adjust to major life changes; Demonstrate knowledge of the managed care system. intake.
