Dorris Dann Kids Campus

Organization Description

The Dorris Dann Kids Campus provide an array of programs for children from TK to 8th grade. We are located off site and provide our participants a safe supervised route to our site from school. We provide Expanded Learning - After School program everyday that school is opened. We focus on encouraging a culture of learning by securing and providing resources to student and families in the areas of need. We strive to create a safe learning environment where student can participate in activities that will enrich their educations and personal development through the use of best practices.

Program Information

Interns are welcomed to assist in the development of program lessons and activities to provide for student. Create curriculum that is more engaging and fun for students. We want interns to bring new ideas, that are hands on, active and engaging to all. We need extra support in giving the participants assistance in homework and building there confidence. Encourage participants to work together as a group to complete task, with both staff and intern support.

  • SITE LOCATION: Parking and work areas may not be secure or adequately illuminated.
  • SUPERVISION: Students will be supervised less than 50% of the time or the supervisor will be responsible for overseeing more than 8 people.
