Organization Description

The City of Pico Rivera's Parks and Recreation Department strives to enhance the life of Pico Rivera present and future by providing safe and welcoming parks, facilities, and creative programming, while promoting opportunities for healthy lifestyles. The REACH After School Program is a sub division of the department that offers enriching after school opportunities in youth leadership, education and healthy life styles to the elementary youth in the El Rancho Unified School District.

Program Information

Students will be working with City Site Coordinators, Classroom Leaders and District personnel to provide a safe and engaging learning environment for the elementary participants of the REACH After School Program/Day Camps. Students will assist with presenting LitART curriculum, assist in conducting outdoor recreation activities, assist in presenting enrichment activities, become familiar and confident with behavior management as well as classroom management.

  • Health Check/Screening (e.g. temperature screening, COVID-19 test)
  • Must be 18 or older
  • SAFETY: Students are NOT PERMITTED to take photos or video while on site.
