Through a unique partnership between the City of Hayward and Hayward Unified School District, Hayward Public Library offers after-school Homework Support Center services at local elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and Library locations. Centers feature access to 21st century learning tools, homework supplies, and on-site trained volunteer tutors who assist students in small groups with their homework needs. The Hayward Public Library’s Homework Support Center is seeking volunteer tutors who have a commitment to education and a passion for working with children and young adults. If you have an expertise in a certain subject area and have experience working with youth, consider volunteering!

Hours generally are from 3-6PM monday through Thursday.
