Organization Description

Partnership for Children believes that all children should have access to the healthcare and emotional support they need to live their lives as fully as possible. Our mission is to increase access to medical care for children living with serious illness and to support their families. We serve children living with serious illness ages birth through 21 years living in Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties.

Program Information

Our core programs include:

  • Transportation to Medical Care (rides and gas cards)
  • Financial Assistance (rent & utilities payment assistance, funeral assistance)
  • Groceries & Goods (grocery delivery, household, health, and hygiene goods)
  • Practical Support (diapers & wipes, car seats, Back-to-School backpacks & supplies)

Our Family Connections & Celebrations programs include:

  • Social Connections (social and recreational outings at places such as sporting events, museums, parks, and other community spaces)
  • Sprinkles of Happiness! Birthday Program (birthday cards and celebrations for children and their siblings)
  • Holiday Celebrations (Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween, Miles of Smiles holiday program, and Winter Wonderland celebration)
