From developing autonomous driving systems to designing life on board experiences, our researchers apply AI technology to improve mobility for everybody. We are exploring the cutting edge of artificial intelligence and robotics, including sensing, perception, mapping, prediction, planning, decision making, and control, to lay the groundwork for the future of mobility. We’re currently looking for an Autonomous Systems Research Intern to join our team in September 2022. During the course of your internship, you will have the chance to: Develop state-of-the-art perception algorithms Develop algorithms for scene understanding and prediction Develop fundamental proactive planning technologies Responsible for: Test and analyze algorithms on real-world vehicles Engage with other Autonomous Vehicle researchers In order to qualify for this role, you must: Currently be pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field GPA of 3.0 or above Strong C++ or python coding ability Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skillsets Strong communication skills both written and oral
