Assistant At — Later Years LLC Senior Care Home

Opportunity Summary 

We offer positions for those in KIN and Nursing majors, as we deal with aid and care for the senior community and getting them in touch with everyday activities. Student will have hands on experience in the ADL of our patients. Student will really be able to work with different scenarios, including broken/replaced hips, dementia, chronic diseases, etc.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Learning outcomes we strive for is the understanding and knowledge of helping the community, especially the senior community in everyday life and having hands on experience working with ADL.

Opportunity Training 

Understanding patients conditions and will let it be known what can and cannot be done per individual patient, including how far mobility can go and to what lengths students will be able to assist in aid.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

My only caution is that students will be exposed to different conditions of residents. I do require covid-19 vaccines.
