Organization Description

The Weston Collective, founded in 2004, is a 501(c)3 organization that inspires and uplifts the next generation of photographers through youth programs, mentorships, exhibitions, community workshops and The Weston Scholarship Competition. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, The Weston Collective relies on its generous patrons and supporters to continue Edward Weston's photographic legacy in local schools.

Program Information

Currently, service learners will need to attend an MPUSD orientation in order to be cleared to work with students at Dr. Martin Luther King School of the Arts & the Dual Language Academy (DLAMP) in Seaside, CA.

Students serving at Aromas and San Juan Schools will need to become volunteers with the Aromas-San Juan Unified School District.

Health & Safety

We often have kids roaming around the school campus taking photographs for a scavenger hunt, etc. There might be times that the service learning student is temporarily unsupervised with a student(s).
