Opportunity Summary

Are you wanting to be involved in an organization that is mission is focused on social justice and improving safe outcomes for people with mental illness. We are looking for leaders to help us accomplish our goals and connect with other likeminded organizations. We know that people with mental illness and those who are BIPOC are at a higher risk of being killed by police. We need your help to increase the awareness of Miles Hall a 23 year old African American male who was killed by the police in 2019 when experiencing a mental health episode. We are working on legislation and are involved in AB988 The Miles Hall Lifeline Act which removes police from mental health calls.
