Project InternAt — Bay Cities Paving & Grading, Inc.

Opportunity Summary 

This is a Summer Internship Program designed for CE or CM students interested in gaining practical Project Management experience on Heavy Civil Road/HWY Construction Projects. Students will work with our Project Teams to gain an understanding of our Company culture, the role of a Project Engineer, and a general scope of work performed by Bay Cities Paving & Grading, Inc.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Basic Take-off, submittals, RFI skills. Understand materials used on our projects and how to order and track them. Visit job sites, to witness and experience our field operations and construction meetings. Learn optimal ways of communicating and building working relationships.

Opportunity Training 

Students will shadow and work with Project Engineers to gain a good understanding of the role of an entry level Project Engineer, and perform various tasks in support of the Project Team to gain practical, real world, experiences in our field of work.
