Organization Description

Caring today for a safe and healthy tomorrow is the mission of our facility. We are a maximum security psychiatric hospital with a forensic population of adult males and trans patients. Our patients are Offenders with Mental Disorders (OMD's), Mentally Ill Inmates (2684's), Incompetent to Stand Trial (1370's) and Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (1026's). They receive treatment in order to prepare for their discharge, which includes medications, treatment groups, team interventions and milieu interventions.

  • HIGH RISK: Students will be working with "behaviorally challenged" populations
  • HIGH RISK: Students will be working with individuals who have a known criminal background or history of violent behavior
  • RISK: Physical Recreation - Risk includes but is not limited to: sprains, strains, bruises, gym equipment, falling
  • SAFETY (HIGH RISK): There have been incidents of criminal activity at the organization or site(s) within the last year.
  • SITE REQUIREMENT: Students are not allowed to take pictures or video.
