Field EngineerAt — Dutch Contracting, Inc.
We are prepared to hire two paid interns immediately and possibly more in the future. The interns will work on-site (in office or the field) during regular business hours. The opportunity offered is project manager/estimator experience relative to general engineering and contracting/construction.
Students will practice skills in the following areas: Collaborating with superintendent, engineers, estimators; Negotiating contracts; Obtaining permits and licenses; Determining needed resources; Work with Superintendent to plan and schedule construction; Ensuring timely completion of the project; Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards; Working within the budget by adequately estimating the costs and cutting unnecessary expenses; Submittals and RFIs; Field Engineering; Change Management
Students will receive training relative to project manager/estimator responsibilities in the construction industry.
