Opportunity Summary 

The student will learn the software called Grafana and learn how to create visual graphs that represent data sets from OMNI. Further, they will work with various stakeholders to apply alerting protocols to notify staff on call that a threshold has occurred.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

The goal of the internship is the intern creates multiple graphs on Grafana and apply the alerting protocols, test them and put them into production in collaboration with the 24x7 operations staff.

Opportunity Training 

The student will learn Grafana software, specifically, Grafana Concepts and Terminology, and Overview of Core Datasources and Panels, 3rd party plugins and how to configure and vet them. They will be able to create these graphs using Grafana, implement alerting protocols and put them into production to be used by the 24x7 operations control room.
