Communications SpecialistAt — Clarion Alley Mural Project
For three decades, CAMP has produced over 800 murals and public projects, drawing attention for its unique work and position as a community, a public space, and an organizing force with a social justice framework. When it was founded in 1992, it was the second (known) mural alley in the United States; the first being Balmy Alley, which began in 1972. Today CAMP receives over 200,000 visitors each year, and ranks higher than the American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Symphony, and Aquarium of the Bay, on TripExpert. However, CAMP’s social media visibility does not match this same level of momentum as it’s in-person experience. The Communications Specialist’s responsibilities include: • Develop and Lead Social Media Campaign for Manifest Differently • Increase CAMP’s IG audience significantly with goal of reaching 7,000 followers, an increase of almost 5,500 new followers • Develop, distribute, and manage project press release and follow-up to secure press coverage
