Organization Description

The Ocean Education Station (OES) is a free education station that allows the general public to explore their scientific curiosities with professional biologists and marine scientists. We aim to educate the general public on fundamental cell and molecular biology concepts in relation to natural history, evolution, and biodiversity.

Health & Safety

We will be working with live animals everyday, some of which that have claws or spines (crabs and urchins) that could cause minor injury. Safe handling techniques will be taught to every student in order to minimize injury risk.
