Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

By the end of this opportunity, our recreation intern will have learned a diverse set of valuable skills that will set them apart in their future endeavors. They will gain hands-on experience in event planning and management, sports coordination, and recreational program development. The intern will develop strong leadership qualities by leading and collaborating with teams, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity.

Opportunity Training 

Communication and leadership training will be a vital part of the internship journey. participants will participate in workshops and seminars focusing on effective communication techniques, teamwork, and conflict resolution. We'll also offer sessions on customer service and how to provide a positive and inclusive experience for participants.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Before engaging in any recreational activities or event planning, all interns will receive comprehensive safety training. This training will cover potential risks, emergency procedures, and safety protocols specific to various activities. We regularly inspect and maintain all equipment and facilities used during recreational programs to ensure they meet safety standards. Any damaged or malfunctioning equipment will be promptly repaired or replaced. During all activities and events, interns will be under the supervision of experienced staff members who are trained in first aid and emergency response. They will be readily available to provide assistance and handle any unforeseen situations. We prioritize the health and well-being of participants. All interns will be trained to recognize signs of distress or medical issues and know how to seek help promptly.
