Opportunity Summary 

One on One Premier is looking for both a qualified Basketball Coach who is able to coach competitive youth basketball teams and youth sport coaches from NOW!!! We specialize in teaching K-7 the sport of basketball in a fun upbeat environment. We are looking for coaches in the Tri Valley Area (Walnut Creek, Danville, Concord, Pleasant Hill) and Alameda County Area (Fremont, Alameda, Oakland, and other Locations)

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Our coaches learn how to work alongside other coaches and develop skills necessary to work with peers. Coaches are responsible to run organized sports programs with an emphasis on skill development. We do a put an emphasis on coaches running programs that are efficient and maximizing the amount of drills/games each time students are in our program.

Opportunity Training 

Coaches will be trained on proper coaching behavior with students and adults. On court coaching expectations, how each program should be run, curriculum to follow, and general class expectations. Coaches will work alongside experienced coaches to learn how programs should be run.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Each coach is required to conduct a background check for our 1on1 Premier Company, each individual school district, and provide a negative TB Test result. Each coach will receive a first aid kit to have for each class in case of a minor injury.

In order to coach for One on One you must: -Be extremely reliable and always be on time!!! -Have experience in Coaching Basketball Teams -Have experience teaching or coaching K-7th Grade Students -Be enthusiastic about teaching sports & be able to command groups of up to 12 kids. -Have experience in coaching the fundamentals, drills, and team concepts for Basketball. -Have your own car. -Be available in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
