Physical Therapy Learning Outcomes for Volunteer Students: Develop a foundational understanding of the human musculoskeletal system, encompassing basic anatomy, physiology, and common movement patterns. Physical Requirements Checklist for Volunteer Physical Therapy and Strength Coach (Weight Training Focus): Physical Fitness: Demonstrates good overall physical fitness for effective coaching. Capable of performing weightlifting exercises with proficiency. Strength and Endurance: Possesses sufficient muscular strength and endurance to demonstrate and guide weightlifting exercises. Able to lead and participate in strength training sessions. Posture and Body Mechanics: Maintains proper posture and body mechanics during weightlifting demonstrations. Able to educate clients on correct lifting techniques.
