Victim Offender Reconciliation Mediator - Restorative Justice Partners IncAt — Restorative Justice Partners, Inc. (RJP)
The Victim Offender Reconciliation Program (VORP) training provides the necessary skills for facilitating mediations between those who have been victimized by crime and the youth involved in the case. Mediations are based in restorative justice.
Trainees will learn about Restorative Justice Partners, Inc., restorative views of conflict, effective communication and mediation techniques. Hands-on training, practice time with experienced mediators, and materials are provided.
Cases are referred by the Monterey County Probation Department and funded in partnership with the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act.

- Must be 18 or older
- Bilingual Desired
- Fingerprinting
- Must have reliable transportation to get to/from mediations (that are mutually scheduled)
