Placement for BSW/MSW I

  • Focus on outreach and networking with behavioral health agencies with the emphasis on perinatal health of birthing individual
  • Run support groups for birthing individuals
  • Create group content

Placement for MSW II

  • Focus on outreach and networking with behavioral health agencies with the emphasis on perinatal health of birthing individuals
  • Run support groups for birthing individuals
  • Create group content
  • Gain clinical skills with clients - assessments, treatment plans, interventions, training on perinatal mood and anxiety d/o and best practices

Student interns should have an interest in working with birthing individuals in a clinical setting. Should be comfortable with the ability to multi-task and work individually as well as on a team. Should be outgoing and open to network on own in the community. Should have awareness of the focus on perinatal mood disorders and pregnancy and infancy loss.
