Organization Description

Our mission is to provide an exceptional Recreation Therapy internship program within the Whole Health Service Line, dedicated to serving and supporting veterans in their holistic wellbeing journey. We strive to integrate innovative and evidence-based recreational activities to promote physical, mental, and emotional wellness. Our program aims to empower veterans to take an active role in their own health by fostering self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth. Through a person-centered approach, we seek to cultivate a supportive and inclusive community that honors their unique experiences and empowers them to thrive in all aspects of their lives.
