Opportunity Summary 

Join Girls Inc. of Los Angeles after school! Be a mentor committed to empowering girls in Los Angeles through educational programs and fun activities. Help girls discover and develop their inherent strengths and champion their academic potential for a brighter future. In-class volunteers support instructors with weekly activities once or twice a week from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, 2 to 3 hours a day.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Be a positive role-model and help build a safe space where girls can be themselves, and build life skills to navigate the world around them.

Opportunity Training 

Volunteers will be required to complete Mandated Reporter training to report suspected or known child abuse or neglect. Mandated Reporter Training provides the knowledge and skills to help mandated reporters carry out their responsibilities.

Opportunity Application Instructions 

To begin volunteering, please complete a Girls Inc. application on our website. Applicants will be scheduled to attend a Zoom Orientation to learn about our mission, program, and onboarding process.
