Opportunity Summary 

Do you enjoy working with young people? Are you looking for teaching, coaching, or leadership experience? Then come join the Hayward High School AVID team. We are looking for college students, teachers, or anyone 18 or older with a passion for collaborating with high school age learners. No prior knowledge required. All training will be provided. Tutoring will take place Monday's from 9 AM - 1 PM (in one hour blocks), Tuesdays from 12 PM - 1PM, Wednesdays from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM (In two hour blocks) and Thursdays 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM.(In two hour blocks) Tutors can attend all or only specific sessions each week. Tutors can work one semester or both. Pay is $17.76 Per hour and is handled through Hayward Unified School District. Background checks and fingerprinting required, but are free through HUSD if you join the team.
