Want to make a difference in your community? Want to work closely with impacted youth of color? Serve as a Youth Engagement Intern with CAUSE to help plan, execute, and support the work of a grassroots community organization.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Some learning outcomes students with CAUSE will learn include community organizing models centered around youth education and civic engagement, sharpening their lesson planning, bilingual material creation and presentation, and volunteer management.

Opportunity Training 

Outreach and Engagement Training (1.5 hours), Tabling Training (35 minutes), Youth Education and Organizing (30 minutes), Civic Engagement 101 (30 minutes), CAUSE Procedures and Policies Orientation (1 hour)

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Students will be asked to do community outreach which may require driving themselves to and from site.
