Ultimately, students in this role will have gained mentorship, acquired hands-on experience, and worked on real-world projects that will have a meaningful impact on our organization as well as their professional development.
Students will receive the necessary training corresponding to the respective tasks and opportunities listed above.
When in the office, we want to ensure compliance with workplace safety protocols such as familiarizing interns with our emergency procedures. Additionally, before interns engage with youth at our facility, we will outline all the safety training and supervision protocols. Lastly, interns handling sensitive youth or donor information should follow our data protection policies and understand how to protect other confidential information.
Be prepared to interview the Executive Administrator, the Chief Operations Officer, or any other team members from the OK Program of Oakland.
