Organization Description

The goal of this agency is to encourage self sufficiency by administering the highest level of services in a manner that is consistent with local, federal and state guidelines. We facilitate this process by placing people first, in an effort to promote the health and well being of those who seek our services.

Program Information

CalWORKs (California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids) provides temporary cash aid and employment services to needy families with children. The program offers supportive services, including child care, transportation, and other services necessary for a successful transition from welfare to work.
