Opportunity Summary
Baywood Court is a non-profit multi-level retirement community that features independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing. This setup allows interns to gain knowledge of therapeutic activities in all three - levels of care.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Interns will gain knowledge and experience in: conduct care plans, one on one intervention, documentation, facilitating programs, conducting assessments, providing feedback on residents' treatment plans and goals, planning and organizing special events, and recreation-related meetings.
Opportunity Training
Interns will be shadowing RT Staff for the 1st month of the internship.
