Oversee staff (lab technicians) and students in the kitchen setting. Responsible for placing orders for product through vendors such as Sysco and JD Foods. Create weekly schedule for staff. Responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing product. Create and maintain relationships with hospitality industry professionals; set up tous at their properties for the Jump Start tours. Maintain a clean and sanitary work-space that aligns with agencies such as the health department. Plan and organize showcase event. Maintain accounts with linen service. Creating documents applicable for daily activity, such as waste log, temperature charts, maintenance and operations requests, purchasing requisitions, etc.
