As an Artificial Intelligence Systems Intern, you will contribute to the development and integration of AI-based solutions in a professional environment. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in the development and evaluation of deep learning models designed to classify images containing music transcription notes, contributing to domain-specific research challenges. Collecting and processing datasets through automated web scraping techniques, focusing on compiling structured information about music researchers and professors globally. Designing and deploying a Chat system to enhance user interaction within the company, applying modern NLP frameworks. Utilizing tools such as PyTorch, GitHub, and cloud-based services for training, version control, and experimentation tracking, while maintaining clear documentation. Promoting responsible AI development by considering ethical implications, data quality, and fairness, while engaging with team members in a dynamic, learning-driven environment.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

By the end of the internship, a student will have gained hands-on experience in building and evaluating deep learning models, web scraping and dataset creation, and deploying NLP-based chat systems. They will become familiar with tools like PyTorch, GitHub, and cloud platforms, while also learning to document their work clearly. Additionally, they will understand the importance of ethical AI development, data quality, and fairness, all within a collaborative, professional environment.

Opportunity Training 

Interns will receive structured training designed to build both technical and professional skills. This includes hands-on learning in deep learning, web scraping, and natural language processing (NLP) using tools like PyTorch, GitHub, and cloud-based platforms. Training will also cover responsible AI practices, data quality standards, and effective documentation. Interns will be onboarded with clear guidance and will continue to learn through project-based tasks, mentorship, and collaborative sessions with the development team.

Interns will receive guidance on digital and professional safety, including proper handling of sensitive data, secure use of platforms, and ethical AI practices. Training will cover cybersecurity basics such as strong passwords, phishing awareness, and two-factor authentication. Interns will also learn to follow data privacy guidelines and responsible AI development standards. For remote or in-office setups, ergonomic tips will be shared to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
