Program Information

Our school offers opportunities for students to learn policies and procedures when dealing with students and family members in a variety of areas including health and welfare, education and community outreach. They will be able to work with students teaching social-emotional skills and behavior management. They will learn the population we serve and their needs. They have the opportunity to work with Sutter County Superintendent of Schools and the Student Services Organization in the participation of event and our Student Care Team. In the Student Care Team they will learn how to manage referrals, case loads and the continued outreach that occurs.  They have the opportunity to work with our School Community Liaison assisting  our families in academics, mental health, homeless and foster youth issues. Additional opportunities will arise depending on community need.

Students need to possess a willing to learn, be adaptable, be flexible as things can change on a daily basis and hour to hour.  They must be confidential, collaborative while also being able to facilitate on their own.  Additionally, they must be problem solvers and contribute to the culture of Robbins School.
