Organization Description

Mission Statement: Saving lives by empowering survivors and educating communities to stand up to domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Stand Up Placer is a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to empowering Placer County survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking to heal from the trauma and create new lives of strength and self-sufficiency. We take pride in our community, engaging and inspiring Placer County residents to end the legacy of abuse.

  • Must be 18 or older
  • RISK: Building, Repair, Community Clean up - Risk includes but not limited to: sun exposure, cuts, bruises, chemical exposure such as paint, tools and machinery, etc.
  • RISK: Students will be asked to drive (in addition to travel to and from site) for this placement.
  • SITE REQUIREMENT: Students will be asked to sign a confidentiality waiver.
