Opportunity Learning Outcomes

Opportunity Training 

Students will receive structured onboarding that includes an overview of accounting workflows, company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality expectations. Training will be provided on accounting software (such as QuickBooks), internal billing and invoicing processes through TMS, data entry standards, reconciliation procedures, and general office operations. Students will also receive ongoing guidance from supervisors and have opportunities to observe and shadow team members as they develop skills and confidence in performing assigned tasks.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

This opportunity is performed in a standard indoor office environment. Students will receive orientation on workplace safety, confidentiality, and proper use of office equipment. While there is a warehouse on-site, internship duties do not require entering or working in that area. Students will not be permitted in the warehouse and will not engage in any activities involving equipment, machinery, or physical labor. The role involves low risk, computer based and administrative tasks. Any safety concerns can be reported directly to the supervisor.
