Chico State Wellness Coach Certificate Program

This MSW practicum position supports the development and implementation of the HCAI Wellness Coach Certification Program at Chico State. The program aims to establish a certified Wellness Coach curriculum and practicum pathway for undergraduate social work students, enhancing their preparation to serve children and youth across the region.
The MSW intern will play a vital role in developing informational materials, coordinating outreach to undergraduate students, and connecting with counties within the Chico State service region to raise awareness about the Wellness Coach certification opportunity.
Regional outreach efforts will include connecting with organizations for employment opportunities for students post-graduation as well as learning the needs for serving children and youth, likely through the developent and implementation of a regional needs assessment.
