Thank you for your interest in becoming a College Corps Fellow! We’d like to get to know you better! The following questions are your chance to share insights about yourself, in your own words.

When You Would Serve

August 24, 2026, to May 24, 2027

What You Would Do

Fellows will work with early childhood education centers, K-12 schools, food banks / pantries, or climate action organizations to build healthier and more equitable communities across California. They will do this in a variety of ways:

  • Plant trees, shrubs or plants with their respective host organizations
  • Seed cultivation, pruning, light cleaning, and soil amendment mixing in order to help crops/plants thrive.
  • Provide food distribution support in different capacities to food-insecure individuals
  • Provide targeted small group support to K-12 students
  • Assist teachers during instructional lessons and demonstrations
  • Support lead teachers by supervising children, implementing lesson plans, and assisting with daily care routines. 

What You Would Gain: Benefits

  • A living allowance paid monthly throughout service term, plus an Education Award paid upon completion of 450 service hours. Total financial benefit up to $10,000.

College Corps at Cal State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) offers service positions with local nonprofits and municipal agencies within a reasonable distance from campus.
