Assisting teachers with daily classroom activities, supporting children during play and learning time, helping with supervision to ensure a safe environment, and encouraging positive social interactions. I also assist with setting up learning materials, maintaining a clean classroom, and supporting children’s emotional and developmental needs under the guidance of the lead teacher.

The student will receive orientation and on-site training provided by the organization, including an overview of policies, procedures, and expectations. Training will include shadowing experienced staff, supervision by a site supervisor, and guidance on appropriate professional conduct. The student will also receive task-specific training related to working with children, families, and/or community members, as well as ongoing feedback and support throughout the placement.
The student will receive site-specific safety training, including emergency procedures, child safety protocols, and reporting requirements. The student will be supervised by qualified staff at all times and will follow all policies related to health, safety, confidentiality, and professional boundaries. Any safety concerns or incidents will be reported immediately to the site supervisor.
