Program Information

 

The MSW practicum student will work primarily with BIPOC students who visit the APIDA Center. The student will engage in the following activities: 1) Designing and co-facilitating events for mostly 1st generation university students. Topics include: stress reduction, navigating family expectations, exploring healthy relationships, and storytelling as intergenerational healing. 2) Meeting with students individually to deliver academic and mental health coaching. 3) Mentoring APIDA students (individually and in groups) who are participating in the Lotus Link program.
