Program Assistant At — Stone Soup Fresno

Opportunity Summary 

This position will provide on-going support all areas of Stone Soup Fresno programming. The Program Assistant provides essential administrative, logistical, and direct program support to help ensure programs and services are delivered effectively to children, youth, families, and community members. Working closely with program staff and leadership, the Program Assistant coordinate program activities and events, prepares materials, maintains participant records and documentation, assists with outreach and communications, supports data collection and reporting, and responds to the day-to-day needs of participants and community partners. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, dependability, flexibility, cultural awareness, and a genuine commitment to serving diverse immigrant, refugee, and underserved communities with respect, compassion, and care.

Opportunity Training 

Yes, the successful student chosen will work with and shadow a seasoned employee of Stone Soup Fresno and will learn side by side with the seasoned staff. The student will also participate in orientation workshops and ongoing staff development monthly trainings.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Stone Soup Fresno takes safety extermely high priority. Stone Soup Fresno employes two facility personnel that oversees safety and who goes on and off campus. Stone Soup Fresno's IT personnel also oversee and provide oversight to the security surveillence system on campus that monitors all activities and safety.
