Opportunity Summary 

Program Specialist - Sports. Assist Recreation Coordinator to plan and implement sports and recreation programs and leagues for children and adults.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

At the end of this opportunity, student will have a greater knowledge and hands-on experience working for a city recreation department. Specifically customer service via email, phone and in person, organizing sports leagues, and planning and implementing recreation and sports program from beginning to end.

Opportunity Training 

The City of Dublin provides new staff onboarding and a mentor.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

Sports leagues and recreation can be physical and is performed outside and inside grass and other sport arenas and gyms.
