Retreat GuideAt — Canyon Ranch Woodside
The retreat guide position is one that encompasses all aspects of front of house operations at Canyon Ranch Woodside. As an all inclusive wellness retreat all programming, activities, and meals are included. The retreat guide works directly with the guests assisting them with booking highly curated activities and services including serving meals and wine in our Hearth restaurant.
Students will learn the importance of providing world class service in a luxury setting and how this translates to guest satisfaction and ultimately to profitability. The will practice skills in professional communication, logistics (planning to execution) and collaboration.
The training will include standards training, food and beverage service training, front office operations to include room assignments, check ins, amenity deliveries, special requests and programming activities. Housekeeping training will include how to complete the perfect room inspection.
Safety is a top priority Canyon Ranch Woodside. All employees must work safely in the restaurant, kitchen and throughout the property and must report or fix any unsafe situation immediately to avoid trips, slips or falls.
