Do you have a dream to work in media production once you graduate? Join our team as a production intern and put your creative skills to work as you work on multiple areas of the production process. You will exercise your multitasking abilities as you assist in developing ideas, editing, recording, conducting research, marketing and/or running errands. Employ your organizational skills as you coordinate different aspects of production to ensure that all aspects remain on time.
Structure - Making creative decisions that help shape the episode Scouting - Searching, pre-screening, and vetting in guests Coaching - Supporting hosts and prepping guests by sending documents and reinforcing best practices Researching - Finding trending topics and factual information to assist the host Scheduling - Setting up recording date/time and providing links. Sound - Using remote recording software and sound mixer Hospitality - Connecting with host and guest to make sure they feel welcomed and ready to record Monitoring - Keeping notes during the recording session about sound interference, internet lagging, and disturbances to help with future editing Supporting - Helping hosts and guests during recording sessions if required. Sound Engineering - Editing, cutting, mixing, and fixing audio issues. Editing - Working with post-production notes and editing any ad COPY before finalizing the upload. Uploading - Loading episodes to our podcast hosting system
