Service-Learning OpportunitiesAt — House Farm Workers!

Opportunity Summary 

SERVICE-LEARNING PROJECTS INCLUDE:

1) Students are needed to collect stories of farmworkers with a lack of housing or those who have benefited from housing services. This information can then be used as an advocacy and educational online tool for House Farm Workers! Students would create an interview template, capture, and write 5-7 stories.

2) Spanish students could provide translation services of brochures or other materials.

3) Conduct research related to affordable and/or farmworker housing

4) Participate in the annual Farmworker Immersion Program, co-hosted with CSUCI every April

House Farm Workers! is also interested in working directly with faculty from varied disciplines to build service-learning projects that support learning course outcomes.
