One final map from your service learning is required before you conclude your service with us.

5 Service Learners

Whale watchinng trips take ~4 hours, plus an hour of data entry, for each day of service.

CKWP REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 40 HOURS OF SERVICE LEARNING, MORE THAN CSUMB'S REQUIREMENT.

This is to ensure students develop rapport with CKWP staff and are able to assist with data collection and entry over a longer period of time.

Opportunity Training

All students are trained on data collection and education materials. Naturalists and staff are available during trips and afterwards (and by email all the time) for support and supervision of the students.
