Our Public Health interns will increase their knowledge of public health protection, environmental regulation, and justice. They have opportunities to practice and refine their skills in literature review, writing, speaking, and advocating for children’s health and public health. Interns will learn, share, and demonstrate why children’s health and public health must stop sources of pollution, toxic chemicals, toxic pesticides, lead, and heavy metals, and have opportunities to participate in policy development, implementation, and evaluation.
Training will be provided as necessary to provide the intern with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary. Training is done remotely.
