Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

1. Clinical Skills Development: - Gain hands-on experience in assessing and treating a variety of sports-related injuries common among mountain athletes, using advanced physical therapy techniques and equipment. 2. Patient-Centered Care: - Develop the ability to create and implement personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to the unique needs of individual athletes, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery. 3. Knowledge of Mountain Sports Injuries: - Acquire in-depth knowledge of the biomechanics and common injuries associated with mountain sports such as skiing, climbing, and trail running, and understand their impact on athletes' performance and recovery. 4. Professional Collaboration: - Enhance teamwork and communication skills by working closely with experienced physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. 5. Interns are expected to be mobile and provide physical assistance to patients as needed. They will also need to understand and demonstrate safe lifting mechanics.
